Virtual Saddle Fitting Course + COMPLETE Saddlefit Pro Gullet Measuring Tool Kit SET
We do saddle fitting in our local area (Mid Canterbury), but for anyone outside of this area (or who wants to give it a go themselves), we recommend the use of our virtual saddle fitting course + kit. It contains a step by step written guide, video (link), and the physical equipment needed to measure your horse; identify gullet size required from whatever brand you are using (gullet plates sold separately); check for correct saddle fit, and solve common saddle fitting issues.
The best thing is ANYBODY can use it (no saddle fitting experience required), and the knowledge & tools can be used again and again on any horse or pony - it brings out the "inner saddle fitter" in you!
> Suitable for a complete novice, or anyone with some experience wanting to build on their existing saddle fitting skill set.
The complete kit is NZ$80 and postage within New Zealand is free (incl rural). Please read our "Shipping" page before ordering. To assist with ordering, please contact us using our Contact Form.
We also offer real-life support and guidance; so through photos and/or videos of your horse, we can help out if there is anything you're unsure of.
This course covers:
> How to measure your horse for correct saddle width
> How to measure your horse for back length
> How to measure rider for ideal saddle size
> Positioning your saddle in the ‘Sweet-Spot’, every time
> Points of saddle fit to check
> Avoiding common saddle fitting ‘issues’
> Saddle fit over time
4 Reasons why you need your own virtual saddle fitting kit:
1) Save time - No appointment making with saddle fitters, no working in around other people's schedules.
2) Save money - More cost-effective than even ONE saddle fitter's visit, let alone when you have to get them out again, & again...
3) Buy Online more confidently - Work out what saddle size you and your horse need first, then get the seller to measure the saddle to make sure the horse & saddle are a likely match before the sale is completed.
4) Demystify saddle fitting - it is not as complicated as saddle fitters may have you think - if they let you know 'anybody can do it', they'd be out of a job!
